Walk No.3 - From Ovingham to Ovington - page 3 of 3
The path follows the river for about half a mile then turns to the left, just before the point where the Whittle Burn pours into the Tyne (7). Follow the track up the side of the burn and the path will bring you to the pack-horse bridge, and so back into the village of Ovingham. For refreshment you may wish to call in at the Bridge End Inn or, crossing the Ovingham Bridge, at the Adam & Eve Inn in Low Prudhoe, before returning to your car at the Tyne Riverside Country Park.
