A limerick is a five-lined nonsense verse
like "There was a young man from Kent . . ." (steady now!) Lines 1,2 and 5
should rhyme, and line 3 should rhyme with line 4. The (in)famous poet Lawrence Yate sent us some limericks about local places. Use the five pairs of up/down nudge buttons to the right of the lines below to see if you can reveal a complete limerick. But, before we start, let us be clear that these are ALL imaginary people. If you think you recognise anyone, then you're probably as mad (and unreal) as our our poet Laurie Yate.
