The Tynedale Heron
by "Oneighty"

So, you think you're good with numbers? Try this.
(A genuine maths question; no silly tricks involved.)

A heron lives by the River Tyne at Mickley Junction.

Today; it took her 10 minutes to fly down to Wylam from her home.
It normally takes her 16 minutes on a calm day,
but today she had the west wind directly behind her.

How long does it take her to fly back home, against the wind?
(She flies in a straight line at constant air speed
and the wind velocity is constant for both journeys.)

You think it's 22 minutes? Sorry; try again!
