Prudhoe Town Centre Development

Northumberland Estates are preparing a Planning Application for a mixed use scheme located on the edge of the Commercial Area of Prudhoe.  It is proposed to redevelop the existing site for a Supermarket to be operated by Sainsbury's, Non-Food Retail Units and Residential Property with a new Town Square linking into Front Street.  The Working Mens Club will also be relocated within the new scheme.

Northumberland Estates are committed to community involvement and consultation within the planning process and are therefore holding public exhibitions  at the St Mary Magdalene Parish Hall, Front Street, on the following dates:

  • Thursday 19th October 2006
          4.30pm - 5.30pm

  • Friday 20th October 2006
          3.00pm - 6.00pm

  • Saturday 21st October 2006
          10.00am - 1.00pm

The exhibitions are 'drop-in' sessions to allow the local community to view the exhibition at any time during the above hours.

Representatives from the project team will be present to explain the proposals and to answer questions about the Prudhoe Town Centre developments.
Drawings will be available for inspection and handouts will be distributed.  The public will be encouraged to provide comments on the proposals for consideration by the design team prior to submission of a formal planning application in late November 2006.
